1. I’m listening to Negative Aperture Sweet Dreams, Timaeus Red Miles The Changing Game from Homestuck Vol. 9
2. I’m at work in a cubicle of isolation inside of the grey labyrinth of despair. Legend has it Daedalus himself designed this office.
3. I’m going to Vancouver for two weeks tomorrow morning to attend two summer intensive programs at VFS. Writing for Film & Television, and Film Production.
4. Last night I filmed Danny Mendlow performing at Yuk Yuk’s. I’ll be doing the same again tonight. I got to meet John Ki and Adam Christie as well. Excellent acts, fucking hilarious. Some of the local comedians were pretty good too. I do believe they’re performing Saturday night as well. I’d definitely recommend seeing them! Adam Christie is also headlining next week.
5. I’m a member of the [S] Midnight Crew.

This is my second week working where I am now and most people that come in to get IDs done have the same conversation with me:

“So you’re a student in for the summer are you?”
“Yup. I’m filling in for my boss whilst she’s away on vacation.”
“So what are you doing in school?”
“I’m going in for an English major with a minor in Film.”
“Oh, that’s good…”

Then it either trails off from there or they ask what job I want, wherein I tell them I plan to go to VFS, or they try to talk me out of doing an English major. No fucking joke, people I didn’t know even existed until mere moments ago try to tell me what to do in school.

“Well, now remember: you can always change your major.”

Oh really? Thank you so much for this amazingly BRAND NEW piece of information. Here I was thinking I was going to be chained up and brought to classes against my will.
